University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

University Diploma - Building and Construction - Building (C5415) (103765J) RMIT’s building and construction diploma provides students with an understanding of the broader construction process, focusing on the planning, coordination and control of projects from inception through to delivery.

The program explores the principles, techniques and regulatory requirements of the building and construction industry, with a focus on medium-rise and wide-span buildings up to 25 metres in height.

Through a practical, project-based approach, students gain hands-on experience across various aspects of construction and develop an understanding of how these elements integrate within real projects. Site excursions to residential and commercial developments further enhance learning by providing direct industry exposure and field-based experience.
