What you will study
Students will explore a wide range of specialisms, from animal behavior and human biosciences to psychology once they have successfully completed the Biological and Biomedical Foundation program. The University of Plymouth champions experiential learning in the laboratory and in the field, with progression degrees including an optional placement year to help them gain valuable real-world experience.
The Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology provides students with a hands-on approach and the scientific tools to address these issues, developing their understanding of plant and animal biodiversity in the United Kingdom and abroad. They will develop their knowledge of key areas such as population ecology, evolutionary processes, behavioral ecology, conservation genetics and habitat management, and prime themselves for a career in ecology, conservation or environmental monitoring.
