What you will study

This qualification addresses work in residential facilities and/or other community agencies and day centers. In addition, it addresses work under professional supervision within defined organization guidelines or as sole practitioners

These workers may;

• Assist with design, implementation, and evaluation of health and leisure activities and programs for clients in one or more sector areas.

• Be responsible for a limited number of other workers.

This course includes industry-based training and therefore participants of this course will either:

• be working in the Community Services and/or Health and Allied Sector;

• aiming to learn new skills &/or upskill; • be in an employer-hosted traineeship; • Be willing to complete placement hours within the relevant industry as part of this course.
