Master of Arts - Jewellery and Silversmithing

This London Metropolitan University's course will train students to harness more sophisticated design and research skills, which will serve as a starting point for them to develop their design language and truly engage with meaning and context. Students will find that experimentation and radical thinking are central to learning at this level. Live projects will drive their ambitions and they’ll deepen and strengthen their practice with social and collaborative interactions. The course focuses closely on developing practice in relation to what is required for commercial success, whilst also framing this in the broader context of positive social impact. Students will graduate a flexible and resilient jeweller or silversmith (or a designer in a similar field), ready to define their unique place in the industry. Students will also be supported to apply their skills across broader design arenas. An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
