Bachelor of Arts - Psychology (Honours)

The Psychology Department at Western has award-winning faculty members doing research and teaching in four Clusters of Research Excellence, these are: • Clinical Science and Psychopathology • Cognitive, Developmental, and Brain Sciences • Industrial/Organizational Psychology • Social, Personality and Developmental Psychology

It is widely recognized amongst the best research-intensive Psychology Departments in the world. Undergraduate students often work with faculty, graduate and post-graduate students on cutting-edge questions about the mind and behavior. The purpose of Honours Specialization Bachelor of Arts Module is to provide a thorough grounding in the principles of Psychology for students who may wish to pursue graduate training in Psychology and for students who prefer a more research-intensive approach to the study of Psychology than is provided under either the Major or Minor programs in Psychology. This module focuses broadly on biological, social, and psychological foundations of behavior.
