Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Event Management with Foundation Year (N823)

The BA (Hons) Event Management at the University of West London is ideally placed in one of the world’s leading event capitals and serves as a launchpad for students’ careers in the events industry.

The course content has been developed with support from a wide network of sector professionals and is taught by experts with extensive industry experience.

The course integrates key areas of events management, including operations and logistics, public relations and marketing, sponsorship, creative design, technical and production expertise, and communication.

Students will engage in coursework that involves planning and organising real events, gaining experience in bidding for contracts, working on client briefs, carrying out risk assessments, designing presentations and producing reports. Work-based learning opportunities also allow students to experience a wide range of events through volunteering.

The BA (Hons) Event Management at the University of West London also offers a foundation year. The foundation year course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to continue onto their Honours degree. Students will study a range of subjects that will underpin their future study and gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities. Successful completion of the year allows students to progress straight onto Level 4 of the course.
