What you will study
For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.
Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Business and Management - Economics On this pathway, students will develop a good understanding of the economic, qualitative and quantitative techniques and ideas used to analyse and solve business problems in a global marketplace. On this course students will be taught by a range of staff with relevant expertise and knowledge appropriate to the content of the unit. This will include senior academic staff, qualified professional practitioners and research students. Students will also benefit from regular guest lectures from industry. The business graduates work in various roles in a wide number of sectors. This course is designed to prepare students for a job in any organisation, large or small, and in any sector.
