What you will study
This BA (Hons) Media and Communications degree at Cardiff Met is designed to enhance knowledge and skillset in media and communications, as well as foster a deeper understanding of media theories and their application to the world today.
The course is developed in a way that allows students to find their own path by covering a variety of subjects whilst enhancing professional writing and digital skills. The undergraduate media degree is unique in its design with three central pillars that form its structure: media theory; media writing; and creative digital practice.
The theory pillar provides a deeper critical engagement with the media through modules such as 'Meaning in Media', 'Media, Culture and Society', 'TV Times', 'Film Criticism', and '#Media'.
