Program Description Le DEC Techniques d'éducation spécialisée forme des personnes aptes à effectuer une intervention appropriée auprès d’une clientèle en difficulté d’adaptation ou d’insertion sociale. Ce travail se fait en étroite collaboration avec différents intervenants tels psychoéducateurs, orthopédagogues, psychologues, ergothérapeutes, directeurs d’école.
Ce programme d’études convient aux candidats qui aiment les gens et savent être à l’écoute de leurs besoins. Ces personnes privilégient le travail diversifié et apprécient les contacts humains. La possibilité d’exercer une influence bénéfique sur les gens représente une grande part de leur motivation. L’ouverture aux autres, l’empathie ainsi que la capacité de travailler en équipe sont des caractéristiques essentielles.
