Program Description This 1 year full-time course is available at Hobart and, subject to available supervision, at Launceston. Honours graduates are highly competitive for professional careers in their area of specialisation. Employment opportunities also exist in more general areas. Graduates of the BSc(Hons) are eligible for membership of a number of professional organisations.
The course aims to provide: • advanced training in the major area of the student's pass degree, • opportunity for training in research, to prepare candidates for further research study, eg MSc and PhD programs and employment in research organisations, and • in-depth knowledge in a single area of science.
