What you will study
University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.
Prospective students are encouraged to contact an RMIT international advisor for assistance with their application and to determine the most suitable study option.
Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering (Honours) (BH070P23) (110991G) The RMIT Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) (Honours) provides students with the skills to become professional and highly employable mechanical engineers in both national and international contexts. The program begins with a strong foundation in engineering sciences, mathematics, design, and professional practice during the first two years.
As they progress, students can tailor their studies by focusing on mechanical engineering or related areas such as manufacturing, automotive engineering, business, mathematics, or computing. The degree emphasises practical learning through design-and-build projects that encourage creative and sustainable engineering solutions, as well as participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge.
In the final year, students complete a capstone project that allows them to integrate, apply, and critically reflect on the knowledge and skills developed throughout their studies.
