Overview

If students hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help them gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at the University of Essex. Course length is determined mainly by students' English language level (UKVI IELTS score).

Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If their course is longer than 2 terms, students will take additional modules designed to improve one or more of their English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.

Master of Science - Organisational Change Management

MSc Organisational Change Management is a specialist course, which will prepare students for a role in organisational management or consultancy. The course will introduce students to advanced research in change management and will allow them to approach organisational change management from both a commercial and a social perspective, in order to help them understand not only why change happens, but how to manage it.

This course is perfect for students that have a first degree in business management, or in a related subject area, or have relevant work experience in organisational management. MSc Organisational Change Management will help students to enter or progress within the job market with a deeper understanding of management and organisational change.

Students will graduate with an ability to excel in a management career and with the capacity to shape organisations and organisational life for the better.
