Graduate Certificate Bundle - Computer Animation (PCANM) + Advanced Manufacturing Management (PAMFM) (Optional Co-op)

Sheridan College - Trafalgar

What you will study

Computer Animation Program Students build on their existing skills and talents by learning the technical and creative process of 3D animation! Sheridan's instructors will guide students through an intense curriculum, teaching them all of the stages required to create compelling moving images. Students enjoy creative and technical flexibility in their final projects, allowing them to explore and specialize. Sheridan was the first animation school to teach computer animation, and they're still industry leaders today. Their instructors have worked on hundreds of television and film projects for major international studios. They're also mentors who are committed to supporting students success. Students will learn proven real-world solutions to production challenges while staying current with emerging tools and techniques.

Sheridan believes a culture of sharing ideas and solutions is key to student success. In addition to their individual assignments, students will also have opportunities to collaborate with professors and peers in Sheridan's immersive and supportive studio environment. Using state-of-the-art facilities to create animated projects and a signature demo reel is great preparation for students first day on the job.

Advanced Manufacturing Management Program Designed for students with degrees or diplomas in related programs, Advanced Manufacturing Management condenses a range of advanced production management skills into one year of intensive study. Plus, with the co-op portion of the program, students are gaining real-world experience and contacts while earning their certificate. The program uses a variety of teaching methods, including case studies, simulations, state-of-the-art software, group work and labs. Manufacturing has evolved to sophisticated IT-based processes — efficient, productive, integrated and controlled. Advanced manufacturing incorporates manufacturing plus the ability to quickly respond to customer needs through production and supply chain innovation. And manufacturers are increasingly focused on lean-sustainable practices leading to improved performance and reduced waste. Students will make use of facilities in the Centre for Intelligent Manufacturing (formerly known as the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technologies), one of the most sophisticated manufacturing management college facilities in North America. Fully equipped, the Centre for Intelligent Manufacturing features a suite of laboratories in which Sheridan instructors create realistic simulations that reflect actual shop-floor conditions and manufacturing management situations.
