What you will study
University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.
Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.
To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.
University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Architectural Design (BP250) (060830J) RMIT’s Bachelor of Architectural Design is recognised by national and international architectural bodies and is designed to develop a strong understanding of architecture alongside a diverse and adaptable skill set for professional practice.
Students learn in a studio environment that reflects a contemporary architectural design firm, working on both experimental and practical projects. Through core and elective subjects, they develop skills in drawing, 2D and 3D design, while collaborating within a community of creative peers.
The program combines speculative and real-world industry projects, enabling students to expand their knowledge and explore innovative approaches to design and problem solving.
Guided by internationally recognised and award-winning architects, as well as visiting experts, consultants and specialists, students gain insight into the core capabilities required of architects and architectural designers. The degree fosters the development of strong design thinking and communication skills through exposure to diverse ideas and perspectives.
