Program Description HIC offers University Foundation Studies for candidates who do not meet the direct entry criteria or hold high school qualifications that are not recognised. Upon successful completion of the pathway programme students will progress onto the University of Hertfordshire.
This course focuses on animation, storytelling and character creation, encouraging groundbreaking and innovative visuals in traditional animation, 2D gaming, concept art and many other possible traditional and digital mediums. Students will develop essential skills in character design, production design and animation, and explore context to their studies. Using the latest technology in Hertfordshire's award-winning Film, Music and Media Building, they’ll hone their individual style. Eventually they’ll produce an eye-catching showreel and body of work to wow potential employers or set themselves up as the next Miyazaki. This course is accredited by Creative Skillset – run by animation professionals – reflecting the highest standard of teaching.
