Canadore College - Aviation
Canada's aviation industry is predicting a huge shortage of skilled aircraft maintenance personnel across the country over the next two decades. Students can train under skilled professionals to repair and maintain aircraft electrical and electronics systems. This program is approved by Transport Canada.
Students will learn: • Science and aerodynamics • Navigation systems and aircraft instrumentation • Communication and surveillance systems • Flight management and flight guidance systems • Equipment installation practices and techniques • Airframe and power plant maintenance
Future Careers: • Avionics repair stations • Aircraft manufacturing • Air carriers - local, regional and international
Note: Graduates receive 18 months of accreditation towards a Transport Canada-issued Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence, Category E. Class attendance is mandatory.
