Overview
This programme provides advanced study of glass as a contemporary artistic and design medium. Students can explore glass-making techniques, material experimentation, creative processes, conceptual development, and contemporary approaches to glass practice. The course encourages students to investigate the relationship between material, form, function, and artistic expression while developing an individual creative identity. Students can undertake research-led projects and critically evaluate their work within broader artistic and cultural contexts. The programme is suitable for graduates interested in glass, craft, sculpture, design, and contemporary art. Graduates may develop careers as professional artists, glass practitioners, designers, makers, educators, exhibition participants, or creative professionals within the wider arts and craft industries.
