University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Landscape Architectural Design (BP256P15) (066833B) RMIT’s Bachelor of Landscape Architectural Design focuses on envisioning, investigating and proposing improved ways of living within complex and rapidly changing environments.

The program engages students in working across diverse contexts such as parks, coastlines, seasonal systems and communities, addressing global challenges including climate change, reconciliation, biodiversity loss, environmental degradation and the creation of meaningful public spaces.

Through design-led learning, students explore how landscape architecture interacts with natural ecosystems, built environments, and cultural and social frameworks.

Students develop strong conceptual thinking skills, learning to generate ideas through observation and translate them into models that test and refine design proposals.
