Get hands-on with the basics of chemistry to begin a career as a chemical, laboratory or research technologist in a number of industries, from petroleum and natural gas to environmental consulting.
In the Chemical Laboratory Technology program, students will learn the fundamentals of chemistry and get hands-on experience using analytical instrumentation to analyze laboratory samples. Eligible students may also participate in a 12-month paid work placement program.
As a Chemical Laboratory Technologist, students will work in a wide range of industrial and research settings.
