Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are responsible for providing basic nursing care and usually work under the supervision of RNs in many different areas of health care from acute care to long-term care, community and home-based care to hospitals and clinics. Along with classroom sessions, students will have the opportunity to train and practice skills learned in the classroom in the state-of-the-art Nursing lab - equipped with all the tools students need to make them the best they can be. Students will also participate in up to 15 weeks of clinical and practicum experience in health care settings that will help them perfect the skills necessary to deliver care and will help them to enhance their resumes.
