University of Essex - Colchester Campus
The University of Essex PhD in Health Studies offers students a unique opportunity to undertake research in a variety of physical and mental health contexts.
Students may be interested in the health of the general population or in relation to a very specific sample of the population but whatever their specific research interests, the university is likely to have a supervisor with the experience to support them in this process.
Students will be offered opportunities to access the school's Masters level research methods modules to provide a sound foundation of specific research knowledge and skills. In addition, they will have access to the University's Proficio research training scheme which allows you to choose training programmes that meet the requirements of their own research topics and methodologies.
