What you will study
TAFE NSW's Certificate IV in Ageing Support will enable students to lead from the front as an aged care team leader. They will gain a deep working knowledge of aged care, uncover a personal leadership style and get on-the-job experience in this high demand area.
Graduates will learn to advocate for the interests and rights of clients and coordinate services and interventions to support their personal needs. Empower clients to maintain their independence and wellbeing and develop the skills to deliver care to palliative clients and clients with dementia.
This course helps students build a rewarding career and make a difference in the community. During their study, they will have the opportunity to bring their passion for working with older people to life.
