University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.
Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Double Degree - Bachelor of Environmental Science & Bachelor of Sustainability and Environment (BP193SEN26) (111277C) The RMIT Bachelor of Environmental Science / Bachelor of Sustainability and Environment empowers students to drive solutions for biodiversity, climate resilience, sustainable resource management, and pollution control. The program features a carefully designed structure that includes core subjects, integrated minors, work placement, and a capstone experience, developing a deep understanding of climate change, pollution, food and water security, environmental management, and Indigenous perspectives.
This unique double degree combines scientific and social science knowledge, equipping graduates with the competencies required for roles in environmental governance and sustainability leadership. Students build an understanding of both scientific and social theory through a combination of classroom, laboratory, and field-based learning.
Through real-world projects, industry engagement, and work placements, students learn to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges. The program is designed to support diverse career pathways, preparing graduates to make a meaningful impact in protecting ecosystems and contributing to a more sustainable future.
