Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying (HK22)

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying program is linked to real-life construction problems, allowing students to develop important professional skills such as analytical thinking, teamwork, presenting, project management and report writing. These will enable them to pursue a career as a professional Commercial Manager, Quantity Surveyor, or another specialist career path. To meet the needs of tomorrow’s Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors, this course is sponsored by the Loughborough Construction Consortium. These companies offer sponsorship, work placements and graduate jobs for students, and enable practical experience in the form of site visits and guest speakers. The course has achieved dual accreditation by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES). This course comes with the option to work in industry for a year on an approved placement, leading to a Diploma in Industrial Studies (DIS). Students may be able to study abroad for a year, resulting in an additional Diploma in International Studies.
