Our BSc (Hons) Computer Science with Education and Qualified Teacher Status merges computer science knowledge with hands-on experience in school settings. Throughout this three-year course, students will study core technical subjects, while gaining a profound understanding of the impact of technology on society.
• Immerse in software engineering, programming languages, computer systems, architecture, and data structures. Work with specialised computer science students for two-thirds of the programme. • Beyond technical expertise and to improve teaching skills, students will take part in regular school experiences from the first year. • Get a comprehensive teaching qualification in just three years. UEL is the only provider of this type of programme in London. By eliminating the need for a postgraduate certification students will be ready to teach computer science in schools upon graduation.
