Overview

The University of Sunderland’s Master of Science - Engineering Management with AI programme is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to progress into leadership and management roles within engineering and technology-driven organisations. The programme combines engineering management, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and sustainability, preparing students to address the opportunities and challenges facing modern industries.

Students explore key areas including strategic leadership, operations and supply chain management, financial decision-making, project delivery and organisational change. They also learn how AI, data analytics and digital technologies can be used to improve performance, support decision-making and drive innovation across engineering environments.

Throughout the programme, students examine sustainability, responsible engineering and risk management, enabling them to respond to environmental, social and governance challenges. By engaging with industry-focused projects, simulations and practical activities, they gain valuable experience and develop the leadership, analytical and professional skills required to succeed in AI-enabled and sustainable engineering organisations worldwide.
