2-Term Undergraduate Foundation Pathway in Engineering and Technology - Continue to Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Aerospace Engineering with Pilot Studies

University of Hertfordshire International College

What you will study

Program Description HIC offers University Foundation Studies for candidates who do not meet the direct entry criteria or hold high school qualifications that are not recognised. Upon successful completion of the pathway programme students will progress onto the University of Hertfordshire. As with the aerospace technology with management degree, this broad-based aviation course has an emphasis on computer-aided engineering – including 3D modelling, computer-aided analysis, simulation and computer-aided manufacture. Students will develop their practical skills in workshops and well-equipped laboratories, while their piloting skills are developed in the second half of the course through the University’s flight simulators and tuition at a nationally recognised flight centre in the UK or US. There are additional fees for this but at a discounted rate. Students will also take part in group work, which will enable them to develop their team-working skills and improve their employability.
