What you will study

The BEng Computer Engineering offers the chance to create applications for robots, embedded and real-time systems, and other innovative information and communications technology. Students will learn about theoretical programming and gain practical experience in developing applications for computing platforms and hardware. This undergraduate course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council. Popular careers for graduates from this course include professional roles in computing, engineering and related specialist fields. Students could also pursue postgraduate study. Students go to a range of companies and organizations of varying sizes for their placements, including large multi-national firms, government agencies, the NHS and small to medium sized companies engaged in research, analytical services and manufacturing.
