At CU London, the Business Management & Leadership BA (Hons) programme is designed to help students establish key leadership skills, from managing people and resources to strategic planning. This degree also focuses on contemporary management issues, giving students the opportunity to develop a wealth of general skills needed to aid progression from an operational level through to leadership. Alongside award winning teaching, students get the chance to conduct critical research with experienced staff, learn from highly-regarded guest visitors (subject to availability) and take part in invaluable practical modules. Optional Sandwich Year An optional professional placement or sandwich year gives students the chance to gain further insight into the industry or career they are seeking to follow, enabling them to apply their theoretical knowledge to the workplace. It is each student's responsibility to find a placement with an employer within their chosen sector. The Talent Team, alongside the course team, will support students throughout the placement year.
