Focus on the mind of the individual and the conditions that influence behavior in our undergraduate psychology degree program. Explore subjects including human development, abnormal behavior, learning and thinking, and personality and assessment, and bring student's studies to life through externships at local facilities and organizations. Students can also participate in the Behavioral Science Club, an active community open to sociology, social work, and criminal justice majors as well as their fellow psychology students. Psi Chi, the National Honor Society for Psychology, maintains a chapter at NYIT, for which they may apply for membership as an undergraduate.
