Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Electronic Music Production (383W)

The BA (Hons) Electronic Music Production at the University of West London is designed for students with a passion for electronic music and equips them with the skills and confidence to achieve their creative goals through a structured programme of artist development.

Students will be exposed to the wide range of opportunities within the music industry, enabling them to explore and maximise the commercial potential of their talents.

The course provides a unique approach to electronic music education by allowing space for individual talent to flourish, supporting students in developing their own artistic identity over three years as composers, performers and freelance producers.

Throughout the course, students will collaborate with a wide range of musicians and artists while working in one of the largest audio complexes in Europe.

Students will have hands-on access to The Townshend Studio, a world-leading creative space featuring rare and sought-after electronic instruments, including vintage synthesisers, modern MIDI controllers, software workflows and experimental sound tools. Through the Artist in Residence programme, students will work alongside established electronic artists, attend masterclasses and gain insight into professional creative practice.

Students will also have regular opportunities to perform live, test new material and build confidence as artists.
