What you will study
The Pre-Masters program is offered over one or two terms and is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to the masters programs at the university. This may be due to the grades achieved in their bachelor’s degree, their current qualifications not being equivalent to a United Kingdom bachelor degree, or having a different background.
Upon successful completion of the Pre-Masters program, students will continue onto their chosen postgraduate degree course at the University of Bradford.
Advanced Mechanical Engineering program will enhance students’ technical abilities, broaden their understanding of other branches of engineering, and improve their research skills.
The program is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and helps develop leadership and managerial strengths that can lead to Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
Students will gain an advanced understanding of mechanics, materials selection, manufacturing, mechatronics, computer-aided engineering design, and developing integrated mechanical systems. They will also learn the principles underlying the design and control of mechanical systems, as well as computational and simulation methods used to ensure the reliability and robustness of mechanical systems.
