The Diploma in Construction and Property Management is a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for construction management and supervisory roles in British Columbia's residential building and property management sectors.
This innovative program focuses on construction management and building supervision, with complementary real estate education, preparing graduates to meet the educational requirements for key provincial licenses including the BC Housing Residential Builder Licence and BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) Rental Property Management Licence.
Led by experienced industry professionals, students develop expertise in construction supervision and building methods, construction project management, property operations, real estate financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
The program offers flexible evening and Saturday scheduling to cater to working professionals seeking career advancement without interrupting their current employment. Graduates are prepared for high-demand careers as Construction Managers, Home Building and Renovation Managers, and Rental Property Administrators, addressing critical labour shortages in these growing sectors throughout British Columbia.
Graduates of the Diploma in Construction and Property Management program may be eligible to apply for a Canadian post-graduation work permit (PGWP).
