What you will study

The principal aim of this broad Humanities course is to enable students to negotiate the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required to succeed in your desired degree at Brunel University London. Students will examine a range of research approaches, techniques, and methodologies, and manage their personal development, as well as intellectual and practical skills.

Brunel Pathway College (BPC) will help build a set of transferable skills, supporting through the undergraduate journey and setting up for success.

Within the core spine of Global Challenges degree, the students will take an in-depth look at issues such as climate change, sustainable development, migration, terrorism, inequality and poverty and how they affect the world we live in. Alongside this, with the Social Cohesion pathway students will delve into the pressing need to address social wellbeing.

Looking at the multiple challenges of economic hardship, unemployment, terrorism, and mass human migration, students will address the causes and consequences of social inequalities, and the ways in which they can be tackled.
