The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) – Electrical Engineering (H645) is delivered entirely through face‑to‑face teaching, typically over two to three days each week. Learning takes place through a combination of lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions, enabling students to engage with concepts from multiple perspectives. Lectures introduce the key principles and technical methods that underpin electrical engineering, while tutorials provide opportunities to apply theory to real‑world problems, work through practical examples, and receive individual guidance from academic staff. Laboratory sessions form an essential part of the programme, offering extensive hands‑on experience with electrical machines, power‑system software, and equipment used for modelling generation, supply, and network design.
