The MSc Structural Engineering at the University of West London will help students advance their skills in structural analysis, design and adaptation. The course will also enhance students’ practical experience in the strengthening and retrofitting of structural buildings when refurbishment or a change of function is required.
Throughout the course, students will develop their ability to use computer modelling for the analysis and design of structures under technical uncertainty.
Students will have access to dedicated computing laboratories and a range of digital resources. In addition, they will gain insight into broader issues such as construction risk management, geotechnical challenges and structural research.
These skills will prepare students to work effectively in design offices and on construction sites.
