What you will study
The BA (Hons) Esports at the University of West London enables students to acquire the skills to organise, broadcast, promote and facilitate live events such as esports tournaments.
The esports industry comprises a diverse range of professionals, including players, shoutcasters, game publishers, sponsors, broadcast and streaming platforms, event organisers and technology providers, making it an ideal time for students to enter this rapidly expanding field.
Drawing on insights from experts across various fields, students will learn production techniques and strategies to build audience participation, while also exploring areas such as brand management and marketing. As part of the course, students will also study how to coach and support players.
With facilities including the Digital Futures Lab and access to vibrant gaming communities in London, students will gain the experience needed to prepare for careers in the esports industry.
