Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) - Main
A career in hospitality is flexible and creative and will allow graduates to meet new people every day. Through labs and lectures, the NAIT Hospitality Management program will prepare students to hit the ground running with broad business knowledge and career-ready skills focused on the accommodations, food and beverage, event management, and tourism industries. NAIT will also help students develop their supervisory skills and progress towards more complex management roles.
Hands-on, industry-relevant skills
Students will focus on service skills for food and beverage, catering and front-desk operations, in addition to foundational business courses. In the student's second year, they will examine marketing, financial management, supervisory skills and advanced courses in hotel, restaurant, and catering operations. The prerequisite for entering the second year is a proven 400-hours of hospitality work experience.
