Program Description The MA in Social Work gives students with a first degree a professional social work qualification at Master's level.

The programme will enable students to be a confident, competent, qualified social work practitioner. The University of Bradford offers a well-established course with a national reputation for producing high-caliber workers. The course is designed, managed, and delivered by a programme management team, in partnership with people that use services, the Bradford Social Work Teaching Partnership (Bradford Council, University of Bradford and Bradford College) and includes students, practice placement agencies, lecturers, and practitioners.

Stakeholder involvement ensures that this course maintains a dynamic, outward-looking approach toward social work education with a clear focus on the expertise and experience of people who use services. Students are supported to shape the curriculum and engage in community activism; the University of Bradford has an active Social Justice Society and strong international links.
