Overview

In Canada, the supply chain is one of the most essential sectors of the economy, involving more than 767,000 workers from a range of occupations and industries. Cape Breton University’s newly designed courses in supply chain management introduce all facets of supply chain management from theoretical and practical perspectives. As efficient management of transportation and logistics is vital to economic growth, organizations are increasingly placing emphasis on improving their operations and supply chain performance. A degree in supply chain management at Cape Breton University involves the management of materials, finances and information as they move from manufacturer to the end user.

The four-year Bachelor of Business Administration program now offers students the opportunity to focus on supply chain management theory and practice, providing them with the foundations to understanding today’s global economy.

Possible Career Paths:

• Supply Chain Analyst • Procurement Specialist • General Management and Business

*Please note: Cape Breton is implementing a Tuition Deposit Policy. The Tuition Deposit Policy will take effect for all applicants starting with the January 2024 application. Students who receive an offer to study at Cape Breton University will be required to make a nonrefundable tuition deposit of a minimum of $2,500 to confirm their seat in the program. If a student does not confirm their seat, CBU cannot guarantee a spot will be available at registration time.
