University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Applied Science - Aviation (BP070P23) (111188D) The RMIT Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation) develops a deep understanding of the global aviation industry and prepares students for leadership roles in aviation operations, airport management, and airline planning. The program is designed for those interested in operational, managerial, and planning careers within the aviation sector.

Students gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry while building leadership, analytical, business, and problem-solving skills to support the effective operation of airlines, airports, and aviation organisations. The degree offers flexibility, allowing students to tailor their studies through areas such as airline and airport operations, aviation management, aircraft maintenance, human factors, aviation safety and security, and business analytics.

A capstone experience enables students to apply their knowledge to real-world aviation challenges through industry projects. Combined with work-integrated learning opportunities, the program provides valuable practical experience to support a smooth transition into the aviation industry.
