The Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Coaching is a unique opportunity to earn an accredited degree in Psychology, while gaining valuable skills in Coaching Psychology, through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). A Future-Focused Degree in Psychology and Coaching Roehampton’s suite of Psychology programmes has a strong history of accreditation and has consistently been commended by the British Psychological Society (BPS) for high-quality education and an outstanding student experience. Following a recent review and enhancement, this programme has been carefully redesigned to continue meeting all BPS accreditation standards and is currently pending reaccreditation by the BPS in early spring 2025. Develop Coaching Expertise for a Changing World Students on this degree will: • Develop key coaching skills across work, health, personal, and career settings. • Learn to apply psychological principles to help individuals achieve their goals. • Master effective communication strategies for both individuals and groups.
Graduates of this programme will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to practice coaching and will hold a competitive edge for careers in coaching, psychology, business, and related fields. Designed for the Future This specialised degree equips students with a deep understanding of human psychology and behaviour, while fostering the development of professional coaching skills to meet diverse individual, group, and organisational needs. The programme also includes the opportunity to apply coaching skills in a professional environment as part of the degree experience. Professional Recognition and Accreditation The programme is also seeking accreditation from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Becoming an accredited coach through EMCC signifies recognition of competence and experience in the field. EMCC Global Accreditation provides clients, employers, peers, and the wider community with assurance that professional standards are upheld and that practitioners are adhering to a shared Global Code of Ethics.
