Diploma of Science (092487K) + Bachelor of Environmental Science (090584C)

The Diploma of Science will provide students with a solid understanding of the natural and physical sciences, including fundamental theoretical and practical principles of chemistry, biology, genetics; and for some pathways, environmental science. Their study is enhanced by additional interactive workshops and language development modules to build the communication skills they need for success in science industries.

Graduate will also gain the necessary computational skills for scientific practice across observation, analysis and problem solving. The program will prepare them for further studies in a broad range of areas including biomedicine, environmental sustainability, chemistry and physical sciences, marine, wildlife and microbiology.

Candidates in Bachelor of Environmental Science will gain knowledge and skills from across the broad environmental science spectrum, exploring environmental issues from social, physical and biological perspectives. On completion of core science courses in their first year of study, they will choose a major that suits their interests and career plans.

Graduates may find employment in a variety of sectors related to their program, as well as major choices.
