Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Advertising with integrated Foundation
Regent's University London
What you will study
Creative conversations are at the heart of successful advertising. This course helps students to develop this skill – focusing on storytelling, as well as the tools and technologies that help these conversations to be heard. Students apply advertising theory to practice in a real-world environment, helping students to hone their creative writing and presentation skills, while they discover their specific interests and learn through experimental, reflective and ethical practice. Students will explore all types of brands, from toothpaste to supercars, and learn why campaigns are successful or controversial in different countries – gaining a global perspective. In their first year, students will start to identify markets and consumers, explore the benefits of storytelling, and develop their digital skills. In their second year, students will explore the future of advertising, build upon their creative direction skills and learn how to talk to specific audiences. In their final year, they will create their own advertising campaigns, from idea to execution, alongside curating their industry-ready portfolio that showcases their talent, adaptability and, crucially, reflects their career aspirations.
