The Master of Animal Biosciences (MABS) program is a professional, course-based degree designed for recent graduates and working professionals who wish to develop specialized, hands-on skills in animal science. The program can be completed in three semesters (one year) of full-time study and allows students to tailor their coursework to align with their individual interests and career goals. Areas of specialization include Animal Breeding and Genetics, Animal Nutrition and Metabolism, Animal Behaviour and Welfare, Animal Physiology, and Digital Animal Analytics. Students benefit from extensive practical learning in high-quality research and laboratory facilities focused on genomics, nutrient analysis, physiology, welfare, meats, and microbiology, gaining valuable applied experience that prepares them for diverse roles in the animal biosciences sector.
