Kent State University - Kent
The Exploratory pre-major affords a tremendous opportunity for students to discover, create, and learn about themselves, majors, and careers. Students benefit from the guidance, advising and support offered in the Exploratory Advising Center. Beginning with the required course during the first semester of classes, academic advisors assist students in choosing a focus of study.
The Exploratory pre-major does not lead to a degree. Students must declare a degree major by the time they have earned 45 credit hours at Kent State University.
Aeronautics, Applied Engineering and Technology pre-major: Students who enjoy using technology to get things done or to solve problems when they arise, or spend time playing flight simulation video games might wish to consider careers in aviation, emerging technologies, production or manufacturing and sustainability.
