What you will study
We will equip them with much more than business knowledge. Their future employers are seeking skills that we develop with them. They’ll leave us with experiences that should give them an edge in interviews and in the workplace.
Here at Chester, they can tailor their business management degree to suit their career. The four pathways are Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources. Our entrepreneurship pathway is designed for people who aspire to become entrepreneurs, creators, and leaders of business ventures. They will have the chance to manage their business ventures with us and compete in their enterprise competitions.
In Finance, we will open their eyes to the real world of business finance, from Financial Innovation where people access finance through their smartphones, to the world of cybersecurity where all our data must be kept safe.
95% of our students progress to employment and or further study and recent Marketing pathway graduates have fought off stiff competition to gain employment with companies like Microsoft, Red Bull, and Calvin Marketing. Our commitment to helping students into rewarding careers means that they too can progress to a great future.
As a Human Resources Management graduate, they will be competent in exercising judgment and skill in decision-making across a range of contemporary contexts. Our HRM modules are aligned to the CIPD professional standards and students can achieve Associate Member Status – a mark of professionalism that is recognized worldwide and a big plus for their CV and their future career.
