By collaborating with students in other filmmaking programs, students will learn to become part of the film production process and capable of creating and integrating any digital elements required to tell the story. The Visual Effects program at Sheridan provides the industry's most comprehensive curriculum by leveraging the knowledge and facilities of their world-renowned Computer Animation and Advanced TV and Film programs. Sheridan's Quality Assurance program emphasizes practical, hands-on instruction and career preparation. Students will learn state-of-the-art quality applications and work with international standards such as ISO 9001, and other industry-related standards such as IATF 16949, IATF AS9100 and more.

The program offers professional preparation for a career in the quality field, including in-depth coverage of material that appears on the examinations for the professional designations of Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt (CSSYB), Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP) offered by American Society for Quality (ASQ).
