What you will study
TAFE NSW's Certificate IV in Information Technology (Web Development) gives students the skills they need to become an integral part of the digital world.
Throughout this course, students will develop a range of skills and knowledge to design, develop, build and administer websites using a range of website technologies.
Students will learn skills that are transferable across a number of different industries, including using Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, concepts in web hosting, and social media technologies. They will also learn Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and search reports using basic analytics (for example Google analytics) that are highly sought after in today's workplaces.
TAFE NSW's graduates go on to launch careers as web developers or designers, technical writers or website support administrators.
TAFE NSW's Diploma of Information Technology (Back End and Front End Development) equips graduates with the skills and knowledge to launch their careers in coding in the rapidly evolving world of website development.
In this exciting course, students will learn how to design, build and manage dynamic and complex websites using a range of website technologies to be able to provide user experience solutions and documents using extensible mark-up languages.
