The Child and Adolescent Development Associate Degree for Transfer allows students to transfer to a CSU campus to finish a bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development/Human Development/Family Studies. This interdisciplinary degree allows students to specialize in a variety of emphases: Child Development, Social and Community Specialties, Elementary Education, Advocacy, or Family and Children’s Services. A bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescents may lead to careers working with children and families in hospitals, foster care, juvenile and family courts, social services agencies, schools or public and private service-oriented programs.
